BALI

ISLAND OF THE GODS

BALI

Bali gets hit by consistent solid swells all year round. While beginner head to Canggu which has very accessible waves suitable for all levels, the more experienced surfer will prefer the Bukit Peninsula in the south, doted with the famous waves and spots like Uluwatu. Bali can get very busy and the waves tend to get crowded in the season, but it has some epic waves that you don´t wanna miss. You will find loads of trendy places with stunning interior and great cafés and restaurant with cool concepts are popping up everywhere. But it´s not just good for the foodies, shopaholics will be in heaven too. Beside surfing there is a lot to discover, like Ubud the famous balinese jungle and rice plantations, temples and much more.

I prefer the Bukit Peninsula in the south, where famous breaks like Padang Padang and Uluwatu awaits you with a less busy vibe than further north. Traffic can get horrible in Bali, best way to come around is certainly a motorbike. Avoid the party and mass hotspots like Kuta, unless you´re into it.
