The Gilded Iguanas one of Costa Rica’s long implemented surf hotels, but don´t get fooled, it has been redesigned since than and the result is stunning.

Designed by local award-winning architect Benjamin Saxe, relax in the open breezy spaces with minimal modern accents and lush gardens. The Interior is colorful but light with some boho twist.

THE ROOMS

You can chose: The Surf Room features two Full Beds, room desk, side tables, closet and storage, private bathroom with glass wall and private garden space. The surf suit can accomodate up to 6 persons.With the premium and premium plus queen and ing you have four other type of accomodations to choose from.

THE FOOD

The restaurant and bar are the mainspot of the Hotel. It is Surfer hangout, nightlife spot, community meeting place, and everything in between. The fresh food, inventive cocktails, and live music makes this place special. Mediterranean Cuisine with costa rican fusion awaits you in this modern oasis.

Mountainbiking, the athletic center and the Spa are at you disposal.

THE SURF:

Book your surf lessons a la carte, or go for the all-inclusive 7-night surf camp offered once a month.

The retreat includes accommodations, daily surf lessons, video analysis sessions, surf theory, membership to their surf club (with unlimited board access), and more. The camp accommodates beginners to advanced surfers.

The Surf Club can be joined to have access to more than 150 different surfboards, the lockers, Bodyboards and many more.
