Not easy to find beautiful places where the surf comes first. At Puro you will enjoy the seafront location, the infinity pool, Ocean views from your room, a skatepark, a gym, a yoga studio, and a 25-meter lap pool.

Puro Surf is located in the quiet little village of El Zonte, perched on a cliff with great views of the ocean and a consistent surf break.

It´s a great modern surfhotel with some traditional elements, such as the impressing palapa-style restaurant Covana.

The on-site Surf Academy will fit for all surfers, offering all you need to reach the next level.

THE ROOMS

This Hotel has 12 rooms of various sizes and a 2 bedroom apartment to choose from. All of them has modern design and seaview.

THE FOOD

The restaurant serves local cuisine and salvadoran flavors with fresh ingredients. Many of these are sourced from the surrounding farms and local fisherman, feeding the local economy and providing the guests with a true taste of El Salvador. Enjoy the restaurant dining area in an open-air setting with incredible ocean views.
The beautifully thatched palapa style roof also serves as a huge rain catcher, helping to recycle water naturally.

Puro Surf has designed a methodology that allows you to advance from the beginner to expert surf level in a holistic approach: Psychological, Tactical, Technical and Physical Preparation. This means that it doesn't matter what level you are, this is for you.

The founder of Puro Surf has put together all the best information and his experience to create what he calls the most effective program in the world." Marcelo's surf training manuals incorporate the ISA's teaching and training guidelines as part of the main references that have been consolidated into the training program that Marcelo has developed. It is the mix of this multiple references, added to his experience and knowledge that allows for a very simplified but succesful learning/training guideline. "I have been coach of El Salvador surf team for many world games events, coach of pro surfers like Bryan Perez, amateurs surfers like Dominc purcell, beginners like Sorelle Amore and grom rippers like Lani Fernandes. I'm proud to work along with the Puro Surf's Team (Family). All of them are responsable for making this a reality with lots of passion, knowledge and good vibes."
