Located at the crossroads of surf breaks, rice paddies, the mystical hills of Ubud and cosmopolitan Seminyak, The SLOW is an eclectic mix of architecture, sound, food and art. The multi-faceted stay incorporates boutique accommodation, all-day dining and drinks, art and local culture, and interactive retail. Gravitating around the Owners' personal art collection, the overall design feels luxurious, boho and rustic at the same time, with tropical plants at every turn, comfy sofas dressed in gorgeous textiles, raw concrete flooring and rustic rugs.
THE ROOMS
There are 12 guest rooms which carry through the same exquisite design as the lobby and restaurant: bare stone walls, clean lines, boho art on the walls. Soft furnishings are all in muted, natural hues, and the contrasting materials – concrete floors, bamboo chairs, sleek wooden coffee tables – work beautifully together. They’re fabulously spacious, with the plenty of room to lounge. The four ground-floor rooms each have a private plunge pool.
To encourage the slow lifestyle, there are no tv's in the rooms.
THE EXTRAS
Arts - Displaying more than 90 pieces of works from around the globe, the personal art collection of George and Cisco Gorrow is displayed throughout the entire property as well as the Room 13 Gallery.
Rooftop - one of the best places in Canggu to enjoy the sunset!
Luxurious hand-made amenities in the rooms: surf wax, face mist, insect repellent, body scrub, in addition to Sarongs, beach towels, and sunscreen.
THE FOOD
The restaurant and bar are the mainspot of the Hotel. It is Surfer hangout, nightlife spot, community meeting place, and everything in between. The fresh food, inventive cocktails, and live music makes this place special. Mediterranean Cuisine with costa rican fusion awaits you in this modern oasis.
